Conceive, Believe, Achieve

By February 10, 2012 2 Comments

It has been said throughout history that whatever the mind can conceive, and believe, it will achieve. This has been proven with many great leaders and will continue to be a formula for success for many more. The Wright brothers were some of the best at applying this, and their work now speaks for itself.  Van Gogh once said, “I dream my painting, then I paint my dream.” I am “painting my dream” by conceiving, believing, and then achieving.  I have personally tested this, and without going into much detail, I know that it works. First I CONCEIVED (thought) of an idea, I BELIEVED in it with a lot of positive emotion, and I ACHIEVED it through action.

Throughout my life, starting as a small child, I’ve always had a very creative imagination.  Recently, through reading and studying, I have learned how to channel my imagination to conceive my own personal goals.  I have conceived ideas and put them into action in several areas of my life.  For this year, I have conceived where I want to be in my personal life and the contributions I want to make in my business life as well.  For me, conceiving is best done through meditation.  A few minutes of quiet meditation every day will allow you to take time to conceive and imagine where you want to be in life.  I will continue thinking of new ideas and turning them into reality, because I know how to turn my thoughts into things I desire.

“Believe that life is worth living and your belief will create the fact.” -William James.  This is a simple thing to grasp. I will always believe in success and contribution because I know belief is vital to my position at Callis and Associates as well as my personal life.  One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that believing in yourself is the best thing you can do to get where you want to be.

My last subject, and by far the most important, is awe-inspiring.  When coupled with action, the form of ideas into physical reality is achievement.  Achievement is the by-product of the first two words, and the most fulfilling in all areas of life. When I apply these three words, life throws itself in my direction. How amazing it is to see a goal transformed into physical reality after spending time creating it.

One last point to tie all three of these words together to form your own reality is to keep a positive mental attitude (PMA).  CONCEIVE great ideas, BELIEVE you have the power within you to make them happen, and ultimately ACHIEVE great success. Try this; it works!
