A Who’s Who of Callis: Charlyn Callis “Little Miss Tidy”

For some, it may be hard to imagine that those of us working here at Callis have a life outside of work. After all, we eat and breathe Callis. (As a side note, we also know what to say to keep the boss happy.) But the truth of it is that there are many different personalities and faces that collaborate daily within the walls of our agency. For the next couple of months we are going to provide a brief insight into the minds that work and “live” here.

Charlyn Callis, a.k.a “Little Miss Tidy”

Charlyn is Vice President and Account Supervisor at Callis with over 12 years of marketing experience. Organization and structure is a must when it comes to daily planning for this self-proclaimed neat freak. Strategizing and planning for execution of client services keeps her busy, as well as internal management and responsibilities she handles daily at Callis.

Everything in this office has a place and must be put back accordingly, or she will come after you! Charlyn is the private eye of cleanliness when it comes to the Callis office. She isn’t afraid to call you out, although she would much rather laugh at your attempt to make an excuse than embarrass you! Once the arms cross and the head tilts and the soft, yet sharp tone of “hmm” comes from her pressed lips, you know the wheels are turning. As long as you remember to use a coaster, lower your chair before pushing in (eliminates scuff marks), utilize scrap paper, and realize how foolish you are to think that paperclips would be kept on the desk (they obviously belong in the desk), you will be good for at least a half day. As for the rest of us, a clean office makes for a…well clean office, but most importantly, a happy VP!

Charlyn has the loudest laugh in the Callis office, hands down. Not only can you hear her across the building, we are sure that our neighbors across the street startlingly jump as well!

She isn’t the type to express her worries or stress to others, unless it has to do with her growing belly and how she is going to be able to paint her toes in a few weeks. Charlyn is pregnant and it’s a girl! You better believe that we are all laughing at the images in our heads of this cleanly obsessed mother chasing around a wild toddler on a destructive mission! There are no doubts that this little girl will be a well-mannered, athletic princess that knows the difference between Murphy’s Oil Soap & Mr. Clean.

Stay tuned as next week we will dish on another face of Callis. Hint: This Vice President of Sales is bright!
