Lesson 21 – Every Industry is Unique
One of the many things we love about our business is the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in a variety of industries. One of the coolest things we’ve learned over the years is that every industry is quite different, yet the same principles of marketing apply to each one. Back a few years ago, we got the opportunity to partner with Zephyr Manufacturing to help them advertise their quality lines of mops, brooms and cleaning products. Zephyr is an old company with a great reputation, but in an industry that you really don’t hear about much, unless you’re in it. We dug in and learned about the industry and the media opportunities available to communicate with Zephyr’s customers and prospects. Of course, we had never heard of any of the trade magazines, and later on, the online media platforms because we had never been in that space. And, every industry is just like it with its own unique mix of publications and people. It’s been very rewarding to work with such a fine company that appreciates what we do for them.
