Lesson 26 - Pay It Forward

At Callis, we’ve always had the philosophy that we should give back, whether that’s in the community, the industry or an organization that does great things for good people who need their help. Over the years, members of Callis leadership has been involved in the volunteer leadership for the Center for Human Services, a Missouri non-profit that serves thousands of children and adults with disabilities from one side of the state to the other. It’s been very gratifying, and through that experience of volunteering, we’ve come to know the organization as well as anyone on the outside. So, when it came time to work on branding and communications, we were well prepared to lead them through the process; first back in the mid-2000s and then again, today. It wasn’t the reason we got involved, but it has turned out to be a win-win for both of us. Congratulations to the Center for Human Services for over 65 years of service excellence and best wishes for many more.
